Alison Davies

Alison is a Change Management advisor with over eighteen years experience in ERP implementation projects.  She has determined business transition strategies with a number of global clients and has managed business change programmes across Europe and the USA, in a variety of industries.

Using a wide-ranging and proven tool-kit, Alison designs change programmes to suit an organisation’s culture and appetite for change, resulting in practical and workable change management approaches and continuous improvement programmes.

Alison has combined in-depth consulting experience with senior business management experience.  She initiated and managed the business transition practice in a boutique consultancy in the USA and was a founder member of SAP UK’s dedicated business change management team. Change Management QA reviews on partner programmes was a specialty during Alison’s career at SAP UK.

As Director of ‘Organisations Work’, Alison is passionate about her company’s commitment to generating innovative and inclusive approaches to business change.  Alison believes that the engagement of business users in the process of change is key to the success of any transformation programme and she has proven the importance of creating a legacy of customer competency that supports the ongoing transition to new processes and technology.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys cooking, travelling and practising her (rather rusty!) language skills.

Gillian Hughes

A highly qualified hands-on professional with extensive experience in business change programmes in complex and often multi-national environments.  Projects have typically involved a intricate matrix of systems, processes and stakeholder groups, third party providers and parallel projects.

Her career has taken her from operational HR roles through management consulting to SAP UK where she was a founder member of the quality assurance team and responsible for setting up the Change Management Service Line for the UK Business Consulting team.  The last 10 years have involved a combination of freelance consultancy, executive coaching and academic study.  Most recently, this has involved studying for a diploma in organisational leadership in the Said Business School at the University of Oxford.

She is a qualified executive coach and has coached leaders grappling with a range of change scenarios.

She believes that helping organisations to change is not about completing a set of spread sheets, but it is about understanding how an organisation ticks and taking a multi dimensional approach to design a pragmatic change programme which aligns to their core strengths whilst addressing their areas of risk.

During her spare time she enjoys sailing, travelling and growing vegetables on her allotment!
